Freecash offer not tracking? Check these things first

If a Freecash game or offer stops tracking, the most useful thing you can do is figure out where tracking likely broke before you submit a ticket. A missing milestone does not automatically mean the offer is lost, but repeatedly reinstalling, switching devices or restarting the offer can make the situation harder to document.

BearMoney is independent and is not affiliated with Freecash. This guide summarizes practical troubleshooting steps and links to Freecash's own support material so you can verify the current rules yourself.

1. Check whether this was truly a first install

Many mobile game offers require a first-time install. If the app was previously installed on the device or tied to an account that already used it, attribution can fail even if you downloaded it again from the offer link. Freecash's current troubleshooting guidance specifically tells users to confirm that the app is a new install.

If you are unsure, do not delete and reinstall the app just to test it. First save screenshots of the offer, your current progress and any tracking history.

2. Make sure ad tracking was allowed

Offer tracking depends on several systems passing attribution data between the device, advertiser, measurement provider and reward platform. On iPhone, declining tracking-related permissions can interfere with that chain. On Android, ad personalization or tracking settings can also matter.

Freecash currently recommends enabling tracking/ad personalization, accepting cookies and avoiding ad blockers while doing tracked offers. It also recommends avoiding VPNs and device switching.

3. Do not switch devices mid-offer

If you started the offer on one phone and continue on another, the advertiser may not connect later milestones to the original click. The safest approach is to finish on the same device and account you used when the offer was first opened unless the offer terms explicitly say otherwise.

4. Verify the exact milestone and deadline

Before assuming tracking failed, compare the offer's wording with what you completed. Similar-looking milestones can be different: player level versus headquarters level, purchase amount versus total spend, chapter completion versus account level, or a deadline measured from installation rather than from the calendar date.

Save the original terms if they are still visible. If the offer changes later, the version you started with is the useful evidence.

5. Check whether earlier milestones tracked

No milestones tracked: first-install attribution, tracking permission, VPN/ad-blocking, or the initial click may be the problem.

Early milestones tracked but a later one did not: the initial attribution probably existed, so document the missing milestone and wait for the stated crediting window before filing a claim.

The milestone shows pending: that is different from missing. Do not submit duplicate claims while a normal pending period is still active.

The task says paid or claimed but your balance is unchanged: use our paid-but-balance-not-updated checklist instead.

6. Save evidence before opening a ticket

Make a small folder containing the offer name, reward amount, original terms, start date, milestone completion date, platform user ID, game/player ID, and screenshots showing the completed milestone. Keep the original image files when possible.

Our missing reward evidence checklist gives you a clean list of what to save without exposing passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary personal information.

7. Give normal tracking delays time to resolve

Some completions are not instant. Freecash's support documentation explains that completion data may travel through the game provider and a measurement partner before reaching Freecash. Its first-install troubleshooting page currently advises waiting before escalating an uncredited completion.

Use the waiting period shown on your own offer or support screen, because exact timing can vary by offer and can change.

When you should open a support ticket

Open a ticket after the stated crediting or waiting period has passed and you can clearly show that the required milestone was completed within the offer rules. Keep the message short and factual: identify the offer, milestone, dates, IDs and attached proof. Avoid opening multiple tickets for the same missing milestone unless support specifically tells you to.

If you already opened one and it still says Awaiting Support, see how long Freecash says manual ticket reviews typically take.
